The varied backgrounds and experiences of the team range across a multitude of therapy areas, including chronic and rare diseases. Our extensive experiences ensure that we are easily adaptable to new challenges and are able to upskill ourselves in new therapy areas quickly.

Steve Hough - Scientific Director

As a GPhC registered pharmacist, Steve has worked in community pharmacy and in medicines management in primary care and has over 20 years of experience in medical and commercial roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Steve’s vast experience, including as a final medical signatory, gives LCW an edge in providing support for the development and delivery of successful medical education programmes and medical writing projects of all types.

Steve thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to work with the latest medical evidence and clinical guidance, to inform the scientific content of all aspects of our work, not least of which is providing support and advice on the importance of adhering to the PMCPA Code of Practice. This puts LCW at one step ahead in its medical writing capabilities.

Harrie Kerr - Senior Medical Writer

With a degree in biochemistry, a PhD and post-doctoral posts in neuroscience, and teaching experience, Harrie brings exceptional publication writing skills to LCW. Having worked in different fields, including clinical research funding in the Welsh Government’s Department of Health, and through previous writing roles, Harrie is proficient in developing content for a variety of different audiences. Harrie’s experiences also allow her to confidently understand and analyse scientific data. Having written and submitted her own publications, Harrie can effectively support pharmaceutical clients with the processes involved in this.

Molly Rimmer - Senior Medical Writer

With a degree in biochemistry and a PhD and post-doctoral research experience in neurobiochemistry, Molly has an excellent understanding of molecular biology. Having worked as a medical writer for over 12 years, Molly brings a vast range of medical communications experience to LCW, including expertise across a broad range of therapy areas. Molly is particularly proficient with analysing scientific data and critically appraising clinical papers.

Dhara Mistry - Medical Writer

Dhara is a GPhC registered pharmacist with experiences spanning across community pharmacy, primary and secondary healthcare settings. With previous roles in the NHS, Dhara has a strong knowledge and understanding of the systems in place and can easily relate to fellow healthcare professionals (HCPs). This skill proves valuable when creating content to support the clinical development of HCPs working on the front line and is supported by her knowledge of medicines and their use.

Dhara has experience of working across many therapy areas and optimising the management of long-term conditions.

Nida Khan - Junior Medical Writer

As a recent graduate with a degree in biomedical sciences, Nida brings a fresh passion for writing to LCW.

Nida’s broad understanding of the pathophysiology of a variety of clinical conditions, and data analysis skills from undergraduate work provides LCW with expertise on successful delivery of scientific content.
